United States FDA Regulations
  • 21 CFR Section 175.105: "Adhesives".
  • 21 CFR Section 176.180: "Components of paper and paperboard in contact with dry foods".
  • 21 CFR Section 176.200: "Defoaming agents used in Coatings".
  • This product shall meet the requirements of the E.P.A. regulation "Code of Federal Regulations 40 CFR" concerning "Tolerances and Exemption from Tolerances for Pesticide Chemicals in or on Raw Agricultural Commodities" under Section 180.920: "Inert ingredients used pre harvest; exemptions from the requirement of a tolerance." (Prior to April 28th 2004 this was section 180.1001(d))
European Union Food Regulations
  • This product can be used in compliance with German BfR Recommendation XXXVI on paper and board for food contact (BfR-Empfehlungen XXXVI zu Papiere, Kartons und Pappen für den Lebensmittelkontakt). This Recommendation is valid for paper or paperboard which are intended to be used at temperatures up to 90 °C (holding and reheating of food).
  • This product can NOT be used in compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 of 14 January 2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, as last amended with Regulation (EU) No 1416/2016.
  • This product can NOT be used in compliance with French Arrêté of 8 September 1999 on cleaning products for materials and articles in contact with food (Arrêté du 8 septembre 1999 concernant les produits utilisés pour le nettoyage des matériaux et objets destinés à entrer en contact avec les aliments).
  • This product can be used in compliance with Swiss Ordinance of the FDHA on Materials and Articles (RS 817.023.21) of 16 December 2016, Section 12 on Packaging Inks. All substances present in this product are listed on Annex 10 Part A or Part B.
  • This product can NOT be used in compliance with German BfR Recommendation XV on Silicone for food contact (BfR-Empfehlungen XV zu Silicone).
  • This product can NOT be used in compliance with German BfR Recommendation XXXVI/2 on Paper and Paperboard for Baking Purposes (BfR-Empfehlungen XXXVI/2 zu Papiere, Kartons und Pappen für Backzwecke).
  • - CAS 107-22-2: SML = 0.05 mg/kg
  • - Acrylic acid esters: SML(T) = 6 mg/kg
