XIAMETER uses commercially standard technology to safeguard your information in a secure manner. Your account information is encrypted and password-protected so that only you will have access to your personal information. Your username and password details are transmitted to our server in a secure encrypted form using SSL (secure sockets layer).  You may direct us to delete your name and address or have them removed from our mailing lists at any time. XIAMETER will make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with the relevant terms and conditions and this privacy policy. Unfortunately data transmission over the Internet cannot be guaranteed as 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your information,  XIAMETER cannot ensure or warrant the security of this site and you use it at your own risk.

The XIAMETER website is currently hosted in the United States. The fact that your data is being processed outside the European Economic Area may mean that your rights under EU Data Protection legislation are adversely affected or inapplicable. By submitting your personal data through this website, you shall be consenting to its being processed by Dow Corning Corporation on servers located outside the European Economic Area.
