United States FDA Regulations
  • 21 CFR Section 176.210: "Defoaming agents used in the manufacture of paper and paperboard".
European Union Food Regulations
  • This product can be used in compliance with German BfR Recommendation XV on Silicone for food contact (BfR-Empfehlungen XV zu Silicone). Silicone resins and elastomers should be processed as recommended by Dow Corning.
  • This product can be used in compliance with German BfR Recommendation XXXVI on paper and board for food contact (BfR-Empfehlungen XXXVI zu Papiere, Kartons und Pappen für den Lebensmittelkontakt). This Recommendation is valid for paper or paperboard which are intended to be used at temperatures up to 90 °C (holding and reheating of food).
  • This product can be used in compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 of 14 January 2011 on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, as last amended with Regulation (EU) No 752/2017. This product contains substance(s) authorized to be used as additive or polymer production aid, and/or as monomer or other starting substance according to Annex I.
  • This product can be used in compliance with German BfR Recommendation XXXVI/2 on Paper and Paperboard for Baking Purposes (BfR-Empfehlungen XXXVI/2 zu Papiere, Kartons und Pappen für Backzwecke).
  • This product can NOT be used in compliance with French Arrêté of 8 September 1999 on cleaning products for materials and articles in contact with food (Arrêté du 8 septembre 1999 concernant les produits utilisés pour le nettoyage des matériaux et objets destinés à entrer en contact avec les aliments).

  • Dow Corning product ranges do not constitute “Materials or Articles” as they should be understood under the terms of Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006. Instead they are considered “Starting Materials”. However this product is produced according to our quality management systems, and certified under ISO 9001 Standard.   • Compliance with the general requirements laid down in Framework Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 of 27 October 2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, remains the responsibility of both the manufacturer of finished food contact mate rials or articles as well as the industrial food packer.
